BTW I completely forgot to in the last post, but here are some random music plugs:
- Autolux is an amazing band with a great CD and an even better live performance. See them if you at all get a chance to do so.
- Pretty Girls Make Graves is also a great live band. I’m getting their cds in a week or so, and will try to write more about how they are, but I’m really excited. Incidentally, any band that has an electric guitar and accordion duet is pretty awesome.
- Kaiser Chiefs are a fairly good brit-pop band.
- Kasabian is good music and really funny live cause the singer acts like a modern-day hippie and the drummer goes through about 5 facial expressions per bar of music he plays and the main guitarist looks way too energetic and the other two members have virtually no emotion at all.
- The Bravery was fun to see live and they have generally good music as well.
- Tegan & Sara was also good, with an interesting mix of the quiet girl and the angry rocker girl (also acoustic and electric guitars).
